Accompanied by a guitarist named Scotty Moore and a bassist named Bill Black, Presley became one of the people who popularized the rockabilly, uptempo, musical mixes that took place between country music and rhythm and blues, which were carried with backbeats.

RCA Victor made a contract acquisition in a deal raised by Colonel Tom Parker, who has been managing the singer for over 2 decades. Presley's first RCA single, Heartbreak Hotel, was released in January 1956 and was able to hit number 1 in the United States.

He is also even considered to be the main figure figure of rock and roll after several successful series on television appearances and various recordings that have been done, successfully topped the charts.

In November 1956, Presley debuted his film on Love Me Tender. In 1958, he served in the military world.

Meanwhile, he tried to continue his recording career for 2 years later and succeeded in producing some of his most successful commercial works before deciding to further devote himself to making a Hollywood movie with a sountrack album in 1960, a decision so much criticized.

On August 16, 1977, he suffered a heart attack in his home bathroom while in Graceland and died. The deaths are believed to be due to recent years due to the consumption of drug abuse that makes his health deteriorate and die.
