Elena Jane "Ellie" Goulding, born December 30, 1986, is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Lyonshall, Herefordshire, England.
His career began when she met the record producers Starsmith and Frankmusik. After signing a contract for Polydor Records in July 2009, Goulding released an extended play play, An Introduction to Ellie Goulding, at the end of 2009.
Meanwhile, in 2010, she managed to become the second top artist based on the poll results of BBC's annual Sound Of and won the Critics' Choice Award at the Brit Awards in 2010.
Goulding released studio album debut, Light, in 2010. The album has already sold over 850,000 copies in the UK. Meanwhile, Goulding's second album, Halcyon, was released in October 2012.

Elena Jane Goulding was born in Hereford and raised in Lyonshall, which is a small village near Kington, Herefordshire. She is the second of four children.
Her mother, Tracey, used to work in a supermarket and her father, Arthur Goulding, came from a family of administrators. When Goulding was 5 years old, his parents separated.
