Wong Fei-hung or Hwang Fei-hong, was born on July 8, 1847 and died on March 25, 1924 when he was 76 years old. Wong-Fei hung is a martial arts practitioner Hung Ga, professor, traditional Chinese physician and revolutionary who later became the hero of the Chinese people.
His father, Wong Kay-Ying, was a physician who was a Chinese martial artian (wushu and kungfu). His father had a medical clinic called Po Chi Lam in Canton (the capital of Guangdong).
Wong Kay-Ying is a martial art expert capable of mastering high-level wushu science. The height of martial arts owned by Wong Kay-Ying makes him very well known as one of the "Ten Tigers of Kwangtung". The position of "Tiger Kwangtung" itself later inherited to Wong Fei-hung.

The well-established combination of knowledge of traditional medicine and martial arts techniques, supported also by the nobility of character, made the Wong family often intervene in helping the weak and oppressed people of that era. Hung Hei-Kwun itself is a figure of a historic rebellion leader who almost defeated the Qing Dynasty dynasty. If the Qing government did not ask for help from foreign armed forces (Russia, Britain and Japan), then the Hung Hei-Kwun-led uprising would undoubtedly drive out the Qing Dynasty occupation.
After studied against Luk Ah-Choi, Wong Fei-hung then studied to his own father until the early age of 20 years. He has become a leading medical and martial artist. In fact, he himself managed to develop it to be much more advanced.
Martial ability that he did more difficult to match when he managed to create a new tactical, but more efficient, stance called "Claw Tiger" and the "Nine Special Punch" stance.
In addition to using empty hands, Wong Fei-hung is also very powerful in using various weapons. After his third wife died, Wong Fei-hung himself decided to live alone until he met Mok Gwai Lan, a young woman who also happened to be a martial art expert.
Mok Gwai Lan herself taught martial arts classes in special women in her husband's college. Mok Gwai Lan then becomes a life partner until the end of life.
Right in 1924, Wong Fei-hung died when he was 77 years old. The Chinese people, especially Kwangtung and Canton reminisced about him as a hero of the oppressed and never fearing defenders of their honor.
